A Champagne Picnic to Remember!
Ms. James’ Birthday Picnic
One thing I know about my friend @dannilionz (Lynette James),
she surely knows how to throw a party! Her sense of style and class are top notch! The way she turned her art studio into a elegant event was nothing short of amazing!
This pandemic has changed all of our lives. It helped some of us learn that we shouldn’t take life for granted. It taught others that we can create beautiful things when we put our minds to it. Teaching can be a tough job, and teaching during a pandemic can be even tougher. But you not only thrived during it, but you did it while raising a daughter and running a business.
Event photography is one of my favorite types of photography. You get to photograph your client in their element. You get to capture more natural moments and genuine joy. As a photographer it can be a little intimidating at first, but one you trust in your God-given abilities and greet people with a smile, then you'll do just fine.
It was good seeing friends and coworkers come out to support your vision. We came to celebrate life and your accomplishments. Keep striving for excellence and may the Lord bless you in all that you do.
A Recital to Remember
Introducing GLA Dance Elite!
Hey, if you're seeing this, take a moment and just admire the charm of these little angels!
Never have a seen such a group of girls so poised and prepared for a photoshoot! They were very cooperative and just knew what poses to go to. It was almost like they were BORN for this shoot lol.
Posing can be very difficult for the younger ones because they are full of so much energy. This isn't a bad thing either because that's something that you want as a photographer. It makes your job easier when the clients joy and energy matches yours.
It was such a pleasure of mine to do this photoshoot and dance session for my coworker and teammate @a_la_keisha. The way that she organized and put together this photoshoot was top notch! From their beautiful costumes, to their sensational dance moves. these girls were poised and ready for their close up! It's moments like these that I thank God for this calling that He's given me to share and capture the joy in others.
Two are better than One!
How I met the love of my life!
Wow! And to think that this all started with a DM message, "You listen to Dave Ramsey too?"
But in all honesty, ever since we first talked on the phone and I heard your voice, there was something familiar about you. Like I was talking to a friend that I've known my whole life. Its interesting how God works. A year ago, I was just a newly single guy, trying to reassemble his life after another failed relationship. But, I wasn't bitter or broken. I just knew that I had to break the cycles that I created. So I got back to working on myself, fasting, praying, taking care of finances, the whole 9.
I started feeling better about the place that God had me in, that’s when I saw your post in a Christian group that caught my attention. You just passed your teacher certification test! You were also in a place where the Lord was building you up as well. I liked, commented, and friend requested you to see and hear more about you. Fast forward to 9 months ago, and I would follow and be inspired by your statuses and stories. The one that caught my attention again was when you were celebrating another win by paying off a huge debt! I was in the same boat as I also was paying off a huge debt.
So we exchanged numbers and I called you a few days later. When we started to talk, I knew this was someone I could be comfortable be ME around. We would talk about everything from Tony Baker's videos, to quoting movie lines. But of all the things we would talk about, the thing we would talk about the longest would be the Word. We talked and have been talking everyday since then. Although being in a long distance relationship is tough (from Philly to Houston) your optimism and encouragement has made it all the more bearable.
One of the things we would say to each other was, "I appreciate you for sticking around." lol But I sincerely appreciate and love everything that you've done to help me realize that what the word said was true when the Lord said, "Its not good for man to be alone". I'm thankful that God placed you in my life to help me grow my relationship with Him in ways that I didn't even know were possible.
Here's to us watering and growing together! ❤
